Rajasthan 2022

Rajasthan is one of the most colourful states of India and on this trip we visited two of the great November fairs that fall on the Kartik Purnima full moon night: the Pushkar and Kolyat Melas. The lesser-known Kolyat Mela attracts a number of Indian Sadhus who camp out arund the holy lake, offering blessings an seeking dnations from the faithful. We also visited the Shekhawati region, and the ancient fort town of Jaisalmer in the Thar Desert.
